Have you noticed that your iPod is quickly becoming the most versatile music system in your home? Electronics companies are racing to build iPod-compatible systems, and some are creating systems specifically for the iPod, like Athena’s iVoice iPod dock. Building on their reputation for excellence, this innovative sound dock was designed from the ground up to play loud, sound spectacular, and to last longer than a single.
The volume on the IPod does not have any effect on the speakes. The volume is handled on the speakers themselves. While the volume control on IPod does not come into play, the equalizer settings on IPod work just fine. Play a song and experiment with the different settings. For example, I am listening to Frank Sinatra with equalizer set to Piano. Bottom line, you will enjoy these speakers.
If most of your music listening is to bass-heavy music, you will most likely disagree with me about the Athena Ipod dock sound system. I listen to everything but bass-heavy music, and this system has a beautiful, clear, sweet mid and high range, and it has a nice bass. Not thumping, not jumping off the table, but certainly there, and IMO, balanced with the rest of the sound, not just bass-heavy like the Bose and the Apple.
The Sony Cybershot DSCW55 comes in black, silver, pink, or light blue, it is a stand-out choice for style conscious start-out or step-up camera customers who appreciate real value and advanced technology. 7.2 MegaPixel imaging, 3x optical zoom lens and high sensitivity combine to capture clear, high-detail images, even in low light.
If you are looking for a point and shoot, compact, easy to use camera with very good quality images and attractively priced, consider this one.
Although small, this camera is easy to hold and operate and the buttons are laid out in an easy to use manner. The viewfinder is invaluable in bright light when the LCD display is hard to see, a nice feature in a camera at this price. The menu is easy to use also and seems to be very similar to the Nikon SLR menu.
The DSCW55 is definitely worth the price, a highly recommended digital camera. If you are looking for a budget price camera, want to use AA batteries and don’t mind using a little thicker camera, then go for the Canon A570 IS with anti-shake.
